We are expanding our team and seeking a talented and enthusiastic Furniture Sprayer to join the team at our workshop in Whitby.

This is a unique opportunity to work on some of the UK’s most exclusive residential projects, collaborating with renowned architects and interior designers in a supportive and creative environment.

What you’ll do

As a Furniture Sprayer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our bespoke furniture meets the highest standards of finish. Working in our Whitby workshop, you’ll prepare and spray a wide range of surfaces, ensuring consistency and quality in every piece:

  • Prepare furniture surfaces for finishing.
  • Apply paints, stains, and finishes using spray equipment.
  • Mix paints and stains accurately, including specialist finishes (metalized advantageous).
  • Ensure smooth, even coverage and premium finish quality.
  • Maintain and clean spray equipment to a high standard.
  • Carry out quality checks and make necessary touch-ups.
  • Follow all safety standards and workshop procedures.

About you

We are looking for a detail-oriented professional with proven spraying experience and a passion for high-quality craftsmanship. To be considered for this role you will be:

  • Experienced in spraying finishes on furniture or similar products.
  • Highly knowledgeable of surface preparation.
  • Skilled in mixing paints and stains.
  • Proficient in maintaining spray equipment.
  • Able to pay exceptional attention to detail and quality control.
  • Meticulous at time management and organisation.
  • Aware of and be able to adhere to safety standards.
