We are expanding our team and seeking a talented and enthusiastic Cabinetmaker to join the team at our workshop in Whitby.
This is a unique opportunity to work on some of the UK’s most exclusive residential projects, collaborating with renowned architects and interior designers in a supportive and creative environment.
What you’ll do
As our Cabinetmaker and Team Leader, you will oversee and participate in the creation of bespoke furniture pieces.
Leading by example, you’ll guide projects through to completion, combining traditional craftsmanship with modern machinery to deliver furniture commissions that exceed client expectations and meet our exacting standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Work to deadlines while maintaining the highest quality
- Lead and support team members to achieve shared goals
- Uphold a professional and positive workshop environment
About you
To be considered for the role of Cabinetmaker and Team Leader, you will need to demonstrate:
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in your craftsmanship
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Strong knowledge of furniture-making materials and processes
- Competence in the safe and skilled use of hand tools and woodworking machinery
- The ability to work from technical drawings with precision
- A professional and positive attitude at all times
